Dark Grey Europe is an International Marketing Communications agency. We are specialists in channel-marketing and communications, serving international, business-to-business companies across many EMEA countries. We offer a rare mix of skills and resources, combining strategic heavy lifting and creative muscle. We deliver sales and marketing campaigns, tools and materials both offline and online for some great international brands.

We need people with real and recent B2B marketing and communication agency experience. With proven client service credentials delivering both traditional and digital campaigns and tools. To help support our growing family of great International clients and brands.

You will be fluent in Dutch and English, be based in The Netherlands with either Dutch nationality or a Dutch resident permit. You will be comfortable working in a relaxed and informal team.

Are you ready to be DGE’s new Senior Account Director?

You’ve been around. You’ve learned the trade. You have a natural feel for marketing communications and you’re good great at what you do. Now come and take your account directing skills to a new level at DGE – where you’ll have the opportunity to put your stamp on major existing accounts and establish a reputation for bringing in even more.

What you’ll do

Working from our office in the heart of Eindhoven you’ll be the key contact for some of our biggest clients. You’ll establish strong relationships with them to build their business. And you’ll be constantly on the lookout for ways to bring new clients on board. Leading multiple projects at once, we guarantee you won’t get bored.

What you’ll need

If you haven’t got a B2B marketing agency background at Account Director level for at least 3 years, sorry, this isn’t an opening for you. But if you do have that experience as well as top business development and client facing skills, we’re all ears. You’ll know channel-marketing like the back of your hand and be as familiar with printed communications as online ones. You’ll also be able to demonstrate how you’ve grown, managed and inspired teams in the past. You’re based in the Netherlands in or near Eindhoven with either Dutch nationality or a Dutch residents permit. Oh, en je moet vloeiend Nederlands en Engels kunnen spreken en schrijven.

What you can look forward to

We’re offering a salary of between €5,200-€6,800 (based on FTE) plus 8% holiday pay per month. 25 days holiday, a full pension & secondary benefits.

Account Executive

to support our team and to be a force that fuels our growing client relationships in the EMEA market. You will be working within a team of client service and creative professionals to deliver high-quality communications campaigns and tools to your assigned clients.

In this role you will:
  • Liaise with clients check and report on a campaign’s progress
  • Brief and schedule the creative team to produce campaign deliverables and assets
  • Support a Client Service Director in devising campaigns that meet client briefs and budgets
  • Define project scope, estimates, time plans and budgets together with the account and creative teams
  • Quality control all work before it is submitted to clients
  • Monitor all stages of client projects to ensure they run smoothly
  • Ensure that projects stay within the allocated budget
Skills required:
  • Good working knowledge of MS office
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and under pressure
  • Be fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English
  • Good business sense and experience with budget management
  • Understanding of marketing communications, creative processes, and techniques
  • General knowledge on SEM fundamentals and Social Media platforms
  • Willing to learn about new technologies and trends in business and communications
We offer:
  • a salary between €2400 – €2700 plus 8% holiday pay per month, depending on experience

You must be based in The Netherlands with either Dutch nationality or Dutch resident’s permit.
You will be office-based in Eindhoven but will also travel to meet clients so a valid driver’s licence would be beneficial.

  • contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities
  • brief and schedule the creative team to produce campaign deliverables and assets
  • support a Client Service Director in devising campaigns that meet client briefs and budgets
  • define project scope, estimates, time plans and budgets together with the account and creative teams
  • quality control all work that is submitted to clients
  • monitor all stages of client projects to ensure they run smoothly
  • ensure that projects stay within the allocated budget
  • lead multiple projects at once
  • be a team player
  • work from our office in the heart of Eindhoven
Skills required:
  • minimum of 3+ years relevant working experience
  • ideally have a degree in marketing or similar
  • good organisational and time management skills
  • proactive approach to projects and clients
  • ability to work as part of a team, and under pressure
  • be fluent in written and spoken English (German language skills are a plus)
  • understanding of marketing communications, creative processes, and techniques – (including Social Media platforms and SEM)
  • willing to learn about new technologies and trends in business and communications
  • quick and independent decision-making
  • being decisive and stress resistant in a fast-changing work environment
We offer you:
  • a salary between €3,200-€4,500 plus 8% holiday pay per month, depending on experience

  • flexibility to work part-time (32 or 36 hours)

What you’ll do

Based in the heart of Eindhoven, you’ll help expand the scope, growth, and clientele by:

  • Identifying prospects, assessing their viability and developing relationships
  • Developing and driving new business approaches, channels and vehicles
  • Working with sales and marketing colleagues. Assist in preparing and presenting introductions, proposals and pitches with the wider team
  • Actively tracking the CRM funnel, reports and following up actions
  • Identifying and driving sales process improvements
Skills required
  • Have superior negotiating and planning skills
  • Be able to clearly present and communicate in both written and verbal forms
  • Be able to successfully work both on own initiative and with senior team members
  • Experienced with CRM and work/planning online tools
